Abstract
This article examines the work of Étienne Le Roy, specially his criticism regarding the tendency of the occidental jurists in attributing universality to the Western Law. Therefore, the text is centered in the notion of juridicity, proposed by the author in order to show that Western Law is nothing else than a product of a wider phenomenon of regulation. Thereby, it is shown that the concept of law built in the western tradition is linked to a world conception marked by monolatry. Emphasizing that Western Law consists in just a particular way to express juridicity, the article tries to present the thesis of multijuridism proposed by Étienne Le Roy and indicate its affinity with the discussion concerning legal pluralism.
