O presente artigo objetiva analisar a política de segurança pública do estado do Rio de Janeiro no governo Sérgio Cabral Filho, a partir de uma apreciação crítica de suas bases jurídico-filosóficas e das ocupações e “pacificações” das favelas cariocas, com enfoque no caso do Complexo de Favelas do Alemão.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the public security policy of the state of Rio de Janeiro, Sergio Cabral Filho in government, from a critical appraisal of their legal and philosophical bases and occupations and "pacifications" Rio's slums, with a focus in the case of Slums of the Alemão Complex.
