Bailado de Cabocla is a celebration of Brazilian culture that intertwines music, dance, and audiovisual elements to highlight resistance, spirituality, and the caboclas’ connection with nature. Created and performed by women engaged in community life and ancestry, the production redefines the role of the cabocla as an archetype of strength and cultural identity. This review explores the sociological, artistic, and cultural dimensions of the music video, drawing on the theories of Maria Lúcia Bueno, Walter Benjamin, Néstor García Canclini, and Daniel Ferreira de Toledo. It examines the relationship between tradition and modernity, the connection between territory and identity, and cultural hybridity.
