About the Journal

RBGG is a continuous open-access publication in electronic format, open access, and provides ORCID identification for all its authors.

The publication categories accepeted are: original articles, reviews, resports, updates, letter to the editor, and brief communication.

The online version is ISSN 1981-2256, licensed under an attribution CC-BY type Creative Commons License.

RBGG uses a review avaliation and a plagium system for the identification of plagiarism. We supports the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), Committee on Publition Ethics (COPE) and Equator Network policies, and set out in the Good Practice Manual for strengthening ethics in SciELO scientific publication.

INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS:

As part of the submission process, authors must check the items required at this stage, as stated on the website www.rbgg.com.br.

After submission, the Journal's Editorial Committee will check whether all submission guidelines have been met, and will initiate the article publication process.

INVESTMENT - Article Processing Charge – APC

The purpose of the charge is to guarantee resources exclusively for RBGG's editorial production. To this end, we ask the author for a publication fee, which is divided into two stages:
- a portion, to be paid only if the manuscript is approved in screening, in the amount of R$200.00 (two hundred reais);
- and another, to be paid only after final approval, if the article is accepted for publication, in the amount of R$780.00 (seven hundred and eighty reais).

Manuscript evaluation – peer review

Manuscripts that meet the standardization criteria will be sent to the RBGG Scientific Editors and then to selected ad hoc reviewers.

To be published, the manuscript must be approved in the following phases

1 - Pre-analysis (Screening): the evaluation of the manuscript is carried out by Scientific Editors, based on objective items.

2 - Evaluation by external peers: manuscripts selected in the pre-analysis are submitted to evaluation by experts on the topic covered.

3 – Final analysis: phase in which the author makes the necessary adjustments to publish the article.
