Abstract

This article works on a contradictory subject, which has been pointed out by the medical discourse tendency overlaid the child concept, according to a conception which refers to a stage of life to be overcome, molded and adapted. It presents a problematic of that discourse, like fomented by the neuroscience nowadays, in child’s production submitted to pathologization and, therefore, submitted to the increasing of psychotropic drugs. It shows the delusion involved in conceptions which tend to suppress the child’s structural condition of being through the concept from the unconscious and the phantasy which refers to the infant’s subjective structure. It lines out the contraposition offered by the psychoanalysis specially clinic proposed by Jacques Lacan, through the impossibility to adapt the desire and it purposes to situate the children beyond the adaptive trends which delivers to the subjective silence.
