Abstract

The aging world population presents itself as a contemporary issue that deserves attention and debate. However, the company despite the constant theme of linkages in the media seems not to prepare or think about their own old age. This article aims at a discussion on the relationship between the dreaded aging process and care dependency that can lead to abandonment and institutionalization. It is understood that there is only one way of aging and that aging is present in our choices and habits of daily life, but you can not escape the biopsychosocial changes inherent in this process. The best age to be worked early in social environments, because the future becomes the present result and that depends on us to sow a future of dignity and respect for the elderly that will be, even if you are dependent and institutionalized care.
