Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present how the Quality of Work Life (QWL), may have strong influence in personal life and professional banking, resulting in improved organizational performance. QWL programs add value as important motivational tools, significantly improving the work environment and thus contributing to achieving the goals of the organization, which is great market differential. This study discusses some concepts of QWL, and its relationship to motivation and stress. Then, we present studies carried out in the banking industry on the subject, as well as a case study from the Agency Flag Square Bank of Brazil, Rio de Janeiro.
