INCIDENCE OF SYMPTOMS OF STRESS IN PRIMIPAROUS: EXPERIENCE AND REPORTS OF WOMEN

Abstract

Pregnancy brings many changes in the woman's body resulting from the interaction between mother and fetus. Apart from the insecurity and fragility of the fear of the unexpected, unwanted or unknown causes pregnant women to have their stress levels are very high. This being transmitted to the baby chemically by hormones. This study aimed to ascertain the level of stress in primiparous women. We selected nineteen volunteers, aged between fifteen and thirty and three years (average age 20 years) residing in the city of Bocaiuva, northern Minas Gerais and using the FHP (Family Health Program). All volunteers in the first evaluation were in the 5th month of pregnancy. The women were followed every month and in consultation with each prenatal answered the textbook Inventory Stress Symptoms for adults Lipp (ISSL). It was evident that the 8th month is the highest levels of stress at 100% of pregnant women, which is the largest psychological component. Conclusion: Levels of Incidende Stress evidenced stages of resistance, quasi-exhaustion, exhaustion and psychological stress of the type and embody the stories of primiparous their obstetric histories.
