Ironia e leitor do texto literário: uma investigação a partir de The Screwtape Letters, de C. S. Lewis

Este trabalho propõe-se a abordar e discutir os conceitos básicos da ironia e suas funções sobre o leitor, e o papel desse na interpretação de uma obra literária irônica, a qual permite pluralidade de significados. Este estudo se dá a partir de fundamentos teóricos de Muecke (1995), Hutcheon (1985, 2000), e Eco (1968, 2004 e 2011), e de análise da ficção epistolar satírica The Screwtape Letters (1942), de C. S. Lewis. Constata-se, assim, que a abertura da obra, seu aspecto plural, e características, efeitos e funções da ironia sobre o receptor oferecem-lhe diversas possibilidades na cooperação interpretativa e na recepção do texto literário.Downloads
