Abstract

Este artigo discute, a partir do conto borgiano “O Evangelho segundo São Marcos”, estratégias comumente usadas para interpretar textos; para isso, retoma os conceitos de superinterpretação de Umberto Eco e supracompreensão de Jonathan Culler. Foi por meio da ficção que Jorge Luis Borges apresentou suas mais profundas inquietações pós‐estruturalistas sobre linguagem e pensamento, por isso, partimos da fabulação para problematizar o figurativo, o signo, a separação da linguagem em literal e metáfora. Este trabalho vem contribuir com as reflexões acerca do sentido e de como lemos e entendemos textos.
