CAN ENUNCIATION CONTRIBUTE FOR TEACHING GRAMMAR?

The article discusses which concept of grammar can be understood from the point of view of Émile Benveniste’s enunciative theory, compiled in Problems on general linguistics, volumes 1 and 2. In order to do so, we present a brief review of the different concepts that the term grammar has taken on throughout the linguistic studies developed in Brazil. The text ends with some considerations on the relevance of the proposal of an Enunciative Grammar to the teaching of mother tongue.
