Um debate sobre a índole do rádio nos tempos de Vargas: a "pedagogia do ar" de Almirante
Abstract
A partir da análise da trajetória de Henrique Foréis Domingues (Almirante) - compositor, cantor, pesquisador e importante figura na Era do Rádio nas décadas de 1930 e 1940 -, é possível perceber a existência de uma "pedagogia" do ar. Em outras palavras, entre um "entretenimento sem compromisso", de um lado, e o elitismo cultural, de outro, Almirante concebeu uma "pedagogia" baseada na troca de conhecimento com o próprio povo, utilizando-se da música como instrumento mediador.
