Abstract

This article seeks to introduce the reader into the world of cinephilia that uses the Internet as a collaborative and universal cinematheque, putting their consumption practices in dialogue with discussions essential to understanding contemporary culture. Will focus on the extent of subaltern cities, where spectators conduct their searches by the rarity of the films, the stage fracturing program governed by the logic of Multiplex, whose grids are assembled from the likely profitability of movies.

Rodrigo Almeida Ferreira

Rodrigo Almeida Ferreira is graduated in Social Communication / Journalism and has a MA in Communication, both degrees from the Federal University of Pernambuco / Brasil. He participated of the Rumos Itaú Literatura program in 2008, is one of the curators of the Janela Internacional de Cinema do Recife and a founding member of the Dissenso Film Society.
