Abstract

The Sportive Journalism uses memory as a way to reinforce concepts and ideas related to soccer clubs and their fans. In Brazil, the sports daily Lance! appealed to the past in previous coverage of the final of the Carioca Championship 2009, as part of one promotion’s lauching strategy. The study analyzes, in this circumstance, the production of the speech to attract fans of Botafogo.
