Call for Papers - Dossier on Psychology, Politics and Sexualities: crises, antagonisms and agencies

17-11-2021

The journal Estudos e Pesquisas em Psicologia, of the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), classified as A2 in the Qualis-CAPES (Brazil), electronic ISSN is 1808-4281, is calling for the submission of articles for the Dossier Psicologia, Política e Sexualidades: crises, antagonismos e agências. The proposal of this dossier is to gather scientific articles that analyze the (dis)articulations between neoliberal rationality and the regulation of difference in the face of the current agenda of customs and new moralities that configure the ultra reactionary political context we are going through in Brazil and in the world. The dossier aims to broaden the debate on the strategies of action-problematization in the psy field, considering the impact on public policies and the repercussions and engagements of the area on issues of difference in/with democracy. The focus of the debates gathered in this issue will be directed to the reaffirmation of the political agenda in confronting the precarisation of health, education, assistance and labour policies, considering the contribution of intersectional practices-knowledge-movements and the ways in which Psychology(s) have been moving in several spheres of political action, questioning what our dispositions would be in face of the urgencies of the present.

The Dossier will be number 4 of volume 22, to be published in December 2022, containing between 15 and 23 articles. Texts will be accepted in Portuguese, Spanish or English, written according to the norms of the American Psychological Association (APA) and with a maximum of 25 pages. Important: submissions will not be accepted from authors who have published or have manuscripts accepted in Estudos e Pesquisas em Psicologia for the period between November 2020 and November 2021. It is also not permitted for an author or co-author to submit more than one manuscript for the dossier. The other guidelines are available at http://www.revispsi.uerj.br/.

Submission must be made until April 30th, 2022, to the Section Dossier on Psychology, Politics and Sexualities: crises, antagonisms and agencies, at https://www.e-publicacoes.uerj.br/index.php/revispsi/login?source=%2Findex.php%2Frevispsi%2Fauthor%2Fsubmit
