Abstract

O artigo analisa a atuação de empresas transnacionais associadas sob a forma de
joint ventures e possíveis violações antitruste decorrentes de tal estrutura. A 
utilização desta modalidade de negócio jurídico tem se multiplicado, à medida em 
que se estreitam os laços comerciais entre os países e que ainda não existem 
princípios internacionais que protejam a livre concorrência. Neste sentido, a 
constituição de joint ventures pode gerar investigação antitruste envolvendo as 
sociedades participantes, prejudicando investimentos e comprometendo a economia 
local.
