domínio da Filosofia da Ciência pode aperfeiçoar a agenda de pesquisas em Epistemologia da Geografia Física. É demonstrada a fecundidade de certas perspectivas ligadas a autores alinhados com uma vertente analítica – raramente recorrida por geógrafos. Sustenta-se que é através dessa filosofia mais robusta (porque centrada em aspectos propriamente epistêmicos) que o geógrafo físico pode encontrar vias mais prestativas pelas quais examinar filosoficamente as modalidades de prática e de pensamento em ciência geográfica.
