The geomorphological unit has been widely used for identifying homogeneouslandscape over important to land management. This is can be obtained by Watershedbecause the waterways play an important role in modeling landscape. Within thiscontext, this study aims to define geomorphological units using cluster analysis by kmeansmethod in first-order watersheds in the Ipanemariveebasin (PE / AL). Themethodology is constituted of the following steps: a) Elaboration of theDTMhydrologically correct and the morphometric attributes, b) 1st order watersheddelineation and the calculation of morphometric variables and c) Classification ofdrainage basins using K-Means method. The classes wereusedto definethegeomorphologicalunitsofthebasindefinedas:Planalto da Borborema; RebordosEscarpados e Elevações Residuais; Pediplano do Baixo São Francisco; e Depressão do São Francisco.
