The paper analyzes the current economic situation of the country from the called neoextrativismo where we see a process of loss of share of the manufacturing industry, followed by insulation in the extractive industries of commodities, the national economy, and space aggravations of a model economic that has as main characteristic the overexploitation of nature. As a result the socio-spatial developments caused by enterprises, many conflict situations involving different social groups directly affected by the spoils of such projects has been verified. The analysis will be made from the Petrochemical Complex of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Comperj), being installed in the metropolitan area of Rio de Janeiro, especially in Guanabara Bay and has brought direct impacts to local fishermen. These are faced with the spoils built by Comperj ranging from increased pollution to the decrease of free areas for fishing. Through the Guanabara Bay claim as a guarantee of their ways of life and work fishermen come engaging in socio-territorial conflictDownloads
