Abstract

In the context of the celebration of 20th anniversary of the Latin American Center on Sexuality and Human Rights, this essay reflects on research that critically addresses knowledge and interventions on sexuality. The broader objective is to reiterate the importance of this thematic axis, both for the field of critical studies on sexuality and for the social sciences in general. In particular, the contributions of these studies to the analysis of sexual rights and policies are highlighted.
