Abstract

This article seeks to analyze a collection of both audiovisual and written discourses disseminated by sectors that promoted the vote for the NO in the plebiscite for peace, held on October 2nd 2016, in Colombia, as well as the discourses of institutional agents in the middle of the debate around the so-called “gender ideology”. I follow the Van Dijk, Lazar and Kress and Leeuwen´s methodological proposals in order to do an approach from the Critical Multimodal Analysis of the Discourse in a feminist perspective. The analysis shows the performative capacity of discourses directed to the micropolitical level but with material effects in both life and death policies.
