Abstract

This is a short account, away from the already known trajectory in the samba schools, of a little-known façade of artists from the Fine Arts School of UFRJ, who intensively devotedthemselves to Rio de Janeiro’s carnival, competing in the contests for carnival decoration of the city and its theaters and clubs, such as the Gala Dance at the Municipal Theater, and thedances of the Copacabana Palace and Gloria Hotels.
