Abstract

The paper aims at investigating the mobility of people, things, information and other fixed and flows (Santos 1996a), phenomena which, when interacting, allow the understanding of how men move, circulate, and form a specific geographic reality. It also presents the journey of the Three Magi from the East in search of Jesus Child as an example of spatial interaction, taking as categories of analysis fixed and flows, migration, mobility, travel and pilgrimage. In the end, the article presents a brief story about the seasonal journey of Mr. M.’s folia, in east Goiânia, to illustrate this concept.
