Abstract

Visando diminuir as disparidades regionais, os entes subnacionais se utilizam largamente de incentivos fiscais. Nesse sentido, o objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o surgimento dos incentivos fiscais na Amazônia, com ênfase naqueles utilizados pela Superintendência do Desenvolvimento da Amazônia, cujos resultados demonstraram a (não) ocorrência de melhoria quanto ao desenvolvimento socioeconômico da região.
