O direito à educação como promotora da cidadania infantil: uma análise da proteção integral na Escola Municipal Jardim Nova Vida – Belém/PA

O presente trabalho tem como tema as correlações existentes entre o direito à educação e a cidadania infantil, justificado em razão de ser voltado para o estudo da promoção e efetivação dos direitos da criança, por meio da associação entre pesquisa e de campo. Para tanto, buscou responder o seguinte problema: se os direitos de cidadania – assegurados em caráter internacional, constitucional e legal – são efetivados na prática da educação infantil pública municipal e representam meios de concretização do princípio da proteção integral. Tendo como objetivo geral analisar a aplicação do direito à educação como promotora da cidadania infantil e as consequências ocasionadas às crianças e ao contexto social. A metodologia empregada é uma revisão bibliográfica de caráter qualitativo e abordagem descritiva, realizada por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica em livros e artigos, tanto físicos quanto disponíveis virtualmente em plataformas de pesquisa, dispostos ao longo do texto na modalidade autor data, concomitante a uma pesquisa empírica, realizada entre setembro e outubro de 2019, em uma escola municipal de educação infantil vinculada a Prefeitura Municipal de Belém-PA. Em sede de conclusão, verifica que a escola é situada em meio a um contexto social de extrema vulnerabilidade socioeconômica, diante do qual utiliza sua prática pedagógica para efetivação dos direitos da criança, buscando concretizar o princípio da educação integral por meio de incentivo à formação cidadã dos estudantes e garantia de acesso à lazer, alimentação e descanso.
