L’Ethos de la honte et de la culpabilité / The guilt and shame ethos

RÉSUMÉ : L’article que la revue Psychologie et Savoir Social reproduit dans ce numéro a été écrit en hommage au Professeur Klaus Helkama, Professeur  de Psychologie Sociale à l’Université d’Helsinki et publié en Finlande en 2005. Son intérêt réside, selon Denise Jodelet, dans le fait qu’il fut le premier texte où Serge Moscovici s’est centré sur la question de l’éthique en psychologie sociale ce qui a généré d’autres textes théoriques et empiriques sur la victimisation des minorités ethniques (2009, 2011). Cette réflexion garde une acuité unique et fondatrice et n’a pas encore été publiée en français. Pour ces raisons nous avons choisi de partager ce texte et nous tenons à en remercier l’auteur.

ABSTRACT: The paper that the journal Psychology and Social Knowing reproduces in this issue was written in tribute to Professor Klaus Helkama, Professor of Social Psychology at the University of Helsinki. It was published in Finland in 2005. Its interest lies, according to Denise Jodelet, in the fact that it was the first text in which Serge Moscovici focused on the question of ethics in social psychology, which generated other theoretical and empirical texts on the victimization of ethnic minorities (2009, 2011). This reflection keeps a founding and unique sharpness and has not been published in French yet. For those reasons we chose to share this text and thank the author for it.
