Representações sociais e vivências de lazer na juventude / Social representations and youth’s leisure experiences

RESUMO: O presente estudo teve como objetivo identificar as representações sociais e vivências de lazer na juventude. Participaram da pesquisa 78 jovens, na faixa etária de 15 a 19 anos, de ambos os sexos, estudantes de ensino médio em um instituto federal no município de Vitória, ES. Os dados foram coletados através de questionário e tabela para mapeamento de suas atividades cotidianas, sendo submetidos ao software SPSS e categorizados através da análise de conteúdo. Os resultados indicaram a grande importância atribuída ao grupo de amigos e a influência da cultura de consumo na constituição das representações sociais de lazer entre os jovens pesquisados.

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to identify the social representations and leisure experiences in youth. Participants were 78 young people, aged 15-19 years, of both sexes, high school students in a federal institute in Vitória, ES. Data were collected through a questionnaire and mapping table of their everyday activities, being submitted to the SPSS software and categorized by content analysis. The results indicated the great importance given to the group of friends and the influence of consumer culture in the constitution of social representations of leisure among the young people surveyed.
