Abstract

The Federal Constitution ensures to the people with special educational needs the right to quality’s education in the regular education in the public schools. However, there is not how include children with special education needs in the regular education without specialized support that can offer to the teachers orientation and assistance. The present work aims to reflect on the preparation of teachers to receive in the classroom students with special educational needs. The research was realized in two public schools, one elementary school and one high school, both are state schools the city of Cruzeiro do Sul – Acre. The survey of data was done trough of questionnaires to the teachers who fitted in the profile survey sample. The total number of teachers that participated this work was twenty, ten elementary school’s teachers and ten high school’s teachers. The results show that some teachers are unprepared to deal with inclusive education.
