Abstract

The Brazilian semi-arid climatic conditions has characteristics, with cycles of drought and often predominantly agro-pastoral activities, resulting in severe process of desertification. In addition, the Brazilian semi-arid regions is one of the most affected by climate change, future scenarios indicate that this region will be no change in its climate, with intensification of drought and aridity.
