Abstract

This text shows and discusses some of the main elements which lead the conception of the inclusive education from the results and reflections achieved by a research whose purpose was to clarify the social representations about inclusive education of teachers who deal with students with special educational necessities, included in ordinary schools in the Municipality of Cruzeiro do Sul, State of Acre. For that, we used as methodological basis the Multiple Classification Procedure (MCP), and we worked with teachers who have competence in inclusive education, as well as teachers who have no knowledge in this area. We applied the Content Analysis (BARDIN, 2004) as a way to interpret data. According to the results, we noted that, independently of the sub-group, it is possible to observe an evidence of a representational area formation based on the precepts of school integration and inclusive education.
