Abstract

It is clear nowadays that Brazil’s foreign policy is oriented to consolidate the cooperation and integration within South American countries. In this sense, Brazil is aiming to exert a leadership role in the region in order to deepen trade relations and to establish greater integration on their development projects. In this paper we point out the main characteristics of the trade between Brazil and Latin America and Caribbean, emphasizing its role as a destination of the Brazilian manufactured goods.
