In this text, the poetic process of Mario Jorge, Sergipean writer, is investigated regarding his literary interactions, assuming that the poet interacts with different art movements. Thus, the reading about the author is carried out on the assumption that his poetic movements are actually a reflection of the individual’s restlessness. In this way, a selection of five poems is made from the books Cuidado, silêncios soltos (1993) and De repente, há urgência (1997) with the purpose of identifying the moments that define the poet’s restlessness moments through the analysis and interpretation of the poetic texts, seeing those moments as a transition process that comes from silence to scream, not leaving the self-reflection and crisis phases behind. Based on that scope, the text symbolically contemplates what the silence, the scream, and the restlessness represent in the poetic individual as it traverses the literary interactions of the author.
