Abstract

In this text, a discussion of theoretical-methodological problems concerning linguistic variation in higher grammatical levels is introduced and considerations are made about the implications deriving from the enlargement of the scope of analysis of variation beyond phonology.

Raquel Meister Ko Freitag, Universidade Federal de Sergipe

Mestre e doutora em Linguística (Sociolinguística) pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Desde 2007, é professora adjunto da Universidade Federal de Sergipe, atuando no curso de Letras/campus Itabaiana e no Núcleo de Pós-Graduação em Letras. Tem pesquisado a relação entre freqüência de uso e a mudança linguística, especialmente a relação entre fatores internos e externos atuantes no processo.
