Abstract

This article analyses the book Literatura Brasileira em Curso, by Dirce Côrtes Riedel, Carlos Nascimento and Tereza Barbieri (Terezinha de Castro). Taking as reference Walter Benjamin’s concepts, such as collection, library, miniature, childhood and time assembly, it describes the innovative architecture of the didactic anthology, focusing on the different configurations of textual albums around a number of themes. There are procedures that encourage multiple reading experiences, pointing to contemporary modes of perceiving the emergency of a Brazilian literature, being very innovative in relation to historical practices of classification and text ordering.

Maria Helena Werneck, UNIRIO

Professora titular do Departamento de Teoria do Teatro da Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro -UNIRIO. Foi aluna dos professores que organizaram o livro Literatura Brasileira em Curso, na Faculdade de Filosofia e Letras da UERJ, na primeira metade da década de 1970. Dirigiu a Escola de Letras da UNIRIO, proposta incluída no Projeto REUNI do Governo Federal, em seu período de implantação, de março de 2010 a abril de 2015. É pesquisadora do CNPq.
