Abstract

The article focuses on the analysis of the poem “Alucinação à beira-mar” (Hallucination by the sea-side). It aims at demonstrating how two antagonistic fields of discourse, i.e., scientific and folk-religious, shift meaning territories in an exemplary way so as to give us a glimpse of the “transferlike” poetics of Augusto dos Anjos, which anticipates the bricolage usage.
