Author Guidelines

The papers submitted to RCMCC will undergo a preliminary examination by the editor to assess their alignment with the journal's mission and objectives. If they meet this criterion, researchers from the Editorial Board and ad hoc consultants will evaluate the papers using a double-blind review system.
The papers must necessarily contain (a) the title of the work and (b) an abstract and keywords in both Portuguese and English. They should also state the research methods and results analysis, in addition to the intro and conclusion.
The papers must adhere to the following standards:

  • Format: A4 paper; top and bottom margins, right and left = 2cm; Word text editor; font: Georgia, size 11; single spacing; justified alignment; Figures and Tables must be included in the text; the text must have a minimum of 9 pages and not exceed 9,000 words, including illustrations and references, as per the template.
  • The papers must be submitted without any possibility of identifying the authors. The identification form must be filled out with the title of the work, accompanied by the complete data of the authors: name, degree, home institution, address, phone number, and email, according to the model.
  • The articles must be written in one of these three languages: Portuguese, English, or Spanish. The analysis will preferably be conducted in Portuguese. However, articles can be submitted for evaluation in another language. Upon acceptance, you must prepare a version in either English or Spanish, a foreign language.
  • Footnotes will not be allowed in the body of the article. If necessary, they should be presented at the end of the text, before the References section.

Average Evaluation Interval: The analysis of the articles will be carried out by two reviewers in a double-blind review format, with the result communicated within a maximum period of 120 days from the date of receipt.

Quotes
Citations in the text must comply with the APA 7th edition guidelines, as per examples:

Illustrations
According to APA guidelines, only figures and tables will be used. A figure can be a chart, a graph, a photograph, a drawing, an organizational chart, or others.
Do not use the expressions "Table above" and "Table below" which indicate the position of the illustration and may change. Use the word "Table" or "Figure" and the number. Ex.: Table 1
The words Figure and Table must be numbered, in bold, and aligned to the left. In the line below, the title should be in italics with the first letter capitalized and without a period.
Inside the table or figure, the font should be 10 pts. Below the table or figure, place a note in italics and the source with the date, which should be in 10 pt font.

References
RCMCC uses the APA 7th edition standard. The references must be in alphabetical order by document, with left alignment.
Only the cited documents should be referenced. Do not use "et al." in the references, including all authors.
After each reference, a blank space is added. From the second line of the reference, a 1.27cm indent should be applied.
The reference is composed of four elements: author, date, title, source.
