Abstract

The inefficiency in the application of existing laws on environment and natural resources and low environmental awareness on the part of rural populations, coupled with the lack of public policies, technical assistance and research to the predominant activities in this medium, have always been aggravated by occupation and rural and urban expansion. Several discussions have been fought around the planet in reference to maintenance of native woods and forests of various biomes and ecosystems, and foster discussions that promoted the emergence of several laws to try to minimize the destruction of these environments which hold a vast field of historical research , bio-ecological, scientific and anthropological.
