TENDENCIAS MUNDIALES DE LA INVESTIGACIÓN SOBRE LA REUTILIZACIÓN DE AGUAS RESIDUALES EN LA AGRICULTURA A PARTIR DEL ANÁLISIS BIBLIOMÉTRICO

La creciente escasez de recursos hídricos y la necesidad de prácticas agrícolas sostenibles han impulsado el interés en el potencial de reutilización de aguas residuales en la agricultura. El objetivo de este estudio fue realizar una revisión bibliométrica de publicaciones científicas enfocadas a la investigación del potencial de reutilización de aguas residuales en la agricultura, en el periodo comprendido entre 1973 y 2023. Se utilizó el análisis bibliométrico de las publicaciones en la base de datos Scopus y se discutió el número de artículos publicados por año, tipo de documentos, áreas de concentración, distribución global por países, afiliaciones, patrocinador de financiamiento, publicaciones periódicas y la creación de la red bibliométrica. autores principales. Para realizar el mapeo científico y evaluar indicadores bibliométricos se utilizó el software VOSviewer® y R Studio®. Los resultados indican la selección de 255 artículos siendo el primero publicado en 1973 y que el año con mayor pico fue 2021, totalizando 21 artículos publicados. En el ranking de países que más publicaron, Estados Unidos ocupa el primer lugar, seguido de Australia, India y China. En resumen, la revisión bibliométrica sirvió para impulsar futuras investigaciones promoviendo el uso sostenible de aguas residuales en la agricultura en todo el mundo.
