This article seeks to suggest some fundamental points of intersection between the genesis of the Marxist thought and the problems pertinent to urbanization, especially as far as the problem of capitalist property of land is concerned. The idea in the end is to underscore the constitutive nature of "real estate income" and the role it represents within Marx´s critical theory.
