This text discusses the situation of quilombolas in Amapá in terms of access and permanence to land, in which their permanence constitutes the quilombolas resilience. It aims to analyze the obstacles in the process of permanence/regularization of quilombola territories and understand the relationship/action of institutions within this process of territorial dispute. The research was developed during the doctorate in 2018. The methodology was based upon the use of interviews developed from guiding questions, intending to collect testimonies from quilombolas and non-quilombolas. The discussion proposed in the article was based on reports made with quilombola leaders from the communities of Ambé, Curiaú, Santo Antônio da Pedreira and with institutions: INCRA, IMAP, APROSOJA and CPT, which cover the territorial theme of quilombos in Amapá. It defends the idea that the slow process of land demarcation and recent changes land tenure legislation, contributes to the occurrence of territorial conflicts.Downloads
