WHAT IS THE T-LOVER'S SPACE?: THE CLOSET IN THE CONTEXT OF CYBERSPACE

Abstract

In this article, we seek to understand what is the space of the t-lovers, subjects that in the search for the maintenance of dominant male and cis-heteronormative standards of the “off-line” society, give new outlines to the closet proposed by Sedgwick (2007). To think the closet in cyberspace context is key piece for understanding the performed masculinity multiples for the same individuals in different spatiality. Thus, the anonymity has become like a tatic to they maintain relationships with the t-cats without hurting the simbols attributed to what was constructed as “being man”. In gender and sexuality research is frequently used a methodology that contemplate events and narratives experienced by the own participants. So, in this paper used the discourse analysis methodology.
