The city of Belem in Para state had its initial process of land use and urban occupation restricted on account of water bodies, which made the city a challenge to fill their spaces with quality. Throughout its history the space was intensely belenense modified to not only promote their occupation as well as its expansion into areas considered lowland, land with altimetric elevations below 4 m. Changes in nature are perceivable throughout Belém will be highlighted for both the watershed of New Road due from the 1940's this area suffer enormous changes in the nature of the ground to be occupied, the target of discussions about how man-society intensifies or even generates forms and processes on relief being geomorphic agent or agent antropogenético. The use and occupation of urban land generated demands for better living conditions (basic sanitation, for example), which trigger new dynamics social on the nature that needed to be changed to better meet new needs city entertainment sometimes eliminating problems (flooding) or just displacing them in space.
