Abstract

Seeking to intertwine Tourism and Geography, this article revisits the genesis and dynamics of the tourism phenomenon, and reflects on its interferences in the geographic space. The observation of the interfaces inherent to these fields of knowledge presents is itself a support for research and studies and, far from wishing to exhaust the issue, it aims to serve as contribution to the analysis of current and complex realities. From this perspective, it examines and articulates concepts, observes motivation of flows and their effects, trying to bring, from Geography, important contributions for the better understanding of Tourism.
