Abstract

The expansion of trade in the international economic environment has increased the demand for specializedtransportation logistics services to plan, manage and control the flow of goods in different markets spread in geographicspace. The aim was to analyze the spatial interactions between the north of Minas Gerais and international markets,through the territorial configuration of importing sectors, modes of transport and customs areas that moved the flow ofgoods in the period 2001-2012. The adopted methodological procedures were the literature review, the collection andanalysis of data from secondary sources, to explain of the import flows. The transport logistics used in the movement ofgoods imported was organized in a service network consisting of international transport, customs areas and nationaltransport.
