Abstract

Based on Dubois and Benjamim, the intention of this article is to reflect upon the possible approximations of photography and art. The initial part presents the approximations obtained from emphasizing first photography, and then, art. In a puzzle of primacies, the relevance of this article arises while permitting the understanding of the photographic image as an “attention catcher”. Therefore, it would allow the surfacing of wishes and questions, capable of building rare links in our mediatic experiences, specially those involving images other than photographic ones.
