Abstract

The present study aims to examine how the different roles are represented in the advertising of ABTA (Brazilian Association of Signature TV) entitled “Liberdade na TV”, which is against the Bill 29/2007. For that, initially, is traced a political and economic context in which the advertising was designed. Following, are used the discourse analysis in light of theories about representation.
