Passagem Para program: the intermingling of information and entertainment in videojournalism

This paper analyzes the modes of addressing of the Passagem Para TV program. Through its textual and audiovisual marks it investigates the dialogue of the video journalism with two spheres of the television industry: the entertainment and the information. In this direction, we consider infotainment as a communicative strategy to attract the attention of the audience. The article also considers verifying how the videojournalism brings up to date the values and premises of the telejournalism.
