Abstract

This article aims to analyze the results of the Portal PUC-Rio Digital project, a laboratory of media convergence developed by the Department of Communication at PUC-Rio, which has just completed one year. The experience, which gave unprecedented visibility to the laboratorial production, with the elaboration and publication of more than 1,300 reports signed by students and trainees, raises questions regarding the training of media professionals and the teaching-learning process in an environment of accelerated development of New Information and Communication Technologies (NICT) and reorganization of the media industries.
