Abusões is a peer-reviewed academic journal devoted to the study of all the Fictions that escape the definition of the real. This journal is the result of a partnership between two research groups certified by Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ) and registered in the Directory of Groups of the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) — Nós do Insólito: Vertentes da Ficção, da Teoria e da Crítica and Estudos do Gótico.
