Abstract
This paper aims to provide a comparative interpretation of two by H. P. Lovecraft, considering some fundamental features of his literary persona: namely, his obstinate existential negativity, the radical racism that grapples with otherness, and his visionary character, forged by a prolific imagination in describing a material world that is inexhaustible in its dimensions and unimaginable in its possibilities of being.
